The Clinical Program Supervisor is responsible for leading a team providing direct service to acute mental health crisis cases in our CORE Program. This position will provide supervision to a team of case managers engaged in outreach, and therapeutic services to our adult unhoused clients. This role requires someone who values accountability, trust, and innovation.
Community Outreach Recovery Empowerment (CORE) is an adult outpatient program that provides moderate to high intensity mental health services to individuals 18 years or older who are eligible for Specialty Mental Health Services in Sacramento County. CORE services are focused on an individuals strength and recovery and provides flexible services to meet clients where they are at. CORE programs provide trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically responsive, recovery-oriented, community-based services, using community defined and best practices to all clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a Full-Service Program, case management team including ACSW/AMFT Care Coordinators, Peer counselors, and other case management staff.
- Provide backup for the Program Manager in staffing, scheduling, and coordination of program resources.
- The Supervisor may also carry a caseload and be responsible for the development and delivery of a full complement of services including individual, family, group counseling/therapy, individual rehabilitation, and brokerage for clients.
- Responsible for clinical assessment, screening, referrals, treatment planning, community planning, and benefits coordination which supports wellness and recovery principles.
- Implement consumer-centered services that are needs-driven, 24/7 model, and strength-based, including assessment, planning, intervention, support, and transition planning.
- Document and maintain all data collection, reporting, and charting records in accordance with BACS and other relevant county regulatory policies/agencies; produce the required number of regulatory billable units per month.
- Participate in supervision, staff meetings, clinical consultation, on-call coverage, travel, crisis/emergency coverage, weekend coverage, as well as agency-wide meetings and training.
Qualifications
- LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC with current Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) registration required.
- Two years of direct service experience in the social field.
- 1 year of experience supervising staff, scheduling, etc. in any sector
- Knowledge of Medi-Cal billing criteria and documentation requirements is a plus.
- The position requires a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage. DMV printout required.
- Travel throughout Sacramento County is essential.
Compensation and Benefits
- The annual salary starts at $135,000 for BBS licensed LCSW/LMFT and $145,000 for 2 years post licensure able to provide clinical supervision.
