BACS is excited to be hiring for Three Licensed Program Supervisors in Sacramento to oversee our Community Wellness Response Team (CWRT) program.
This innovative program works collaboratively with 988 and Sacramento County to provide urgent response for community members experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis to reduce unecessary emergency services and provide community based resources.
The Clinical Program Supervisor position will manage administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement functions that promote the highest element of service provision. BACS’ staff does whatever it takes to stabilize, de-escalate and provide appropriate linkages and the work happens both in the office, and out in the community. This role requires someone who can empower a team to build accountability, trust, and innovation.
REQUIREMENTS
This is a 100% on site/field based position. A car, driver’s license and insurance is required. The Clinical Program Supervisor must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Services (BBS) as an LCSW or LMFT and able to provide clinical supervision.
Schedule:
- Day shift 8:00am-4:30pm, Sun-Thurs
- Swing shift 4:00pm – 12:30am, Tues-Sat
- NOC shift 12:00am-8:30am, Sun-Thurs
Responsibilities
- Supervise ACSW/AMFT/LCSW/LMFT Care Coordinators and peer counselors.
- Provide backup for the Program Manager in staffing, scheduling, and coordination of program resources.
- The Supervisor will also provide crisis services both via phone and in person.
- Responsible for clinical assessment, screening, referrals, safety planning, community planning, and benefits coordination which supports wellness and recovery principles.
- Implement consumer-centered services that are needs-driven, 24/7 model, and strength-based, including assessment, planning, intervention, support, and transition planning.
- Document and maintain all data collection, reporting, and charting records in accordance with BACS and other relevant county regulatory policies/agencies; produce the required number of regulatory billable units per month.
- Participate in supervision, staff meetings, clinical consultation, on-call coverage, travel, crisis/emergency coverage, weekend coverage, as well as agency-wide meetings and training.
Qualifications
- LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC with current Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) registration required.
- Two years’ experience post-licensure in a behavioral science field.
- 1 year of experience supervising staff, scheduling, etc. in any sector.
- Ability to lead diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal required.
- Knowledge of Medi-Cal billing criteria and documentation requirements.
- The position requires a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage. DMV printout required.
- Travel throughout Sacramento County is essential.
