Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Administration, the Clinical Supervisor provides individual and group supervision to clinical caseworkers responsible for providing high-quality wraparound services for adults using strength-based, client-centered approaches. Services include providing all of the necessary supports for participants to transition from the mental health system to living independently in the communities of their choice. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the quality of clinical services is maintained through individual and group supervision.
  • Ensure that clinical records are accurate, current, and meet relevant standards and licensing regulations.
  • Review all reports of suspected abuse or neglect of vulnerable adults and ensure that appropriate actions are taken.
  • Participate in internal and external committees and meetings.
  • Coordinate admissions and discharges of participants.
  • Consult with participants, Personal Service Coordinators, the Sr. Director of Administration, the Chief Clinical Strategy Officer, or the CFO when clinical concerns interface with a participant’s inability to pay for services.
  • Provide consultation and support to staff as needed including being available to staff to debrief about difficult situations.
  • Provide backup clinical care to participants when assigned staff are unavailable.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree required in social science. LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in CA. 
  • Two years of experience providing Medi-Cal reimbursable specialty mental health services.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of community mental health and public mental health systems of care, particularly in the Bay Area.
  • Dedicated and demonstrated commitment to under-served communities.
  • Dedicated commitment to social justice and wellness and recovery-oriented.
